On October 20th 2018 the inaugural “Manasquan Inlet Inter-Coastal Tug Of War” will be battled out between Monmouth and Ocean County, two legendary territories on the jersey shore! The Manasquan inlet tug of war will most definitely be an epic event, and will be taking place between 11:00am & 3:00pm as teams of 25+ compete to see whose county reigns supreme.
A 1,200 foot rope will go across the Manasquan inlet and its 400 feet of water that separates the townships Point Pleasant Beach, Manasquan and Monmouth and Ocean County. As the competition commence their will be live bands, Drinks, Food Trucks and plenty of fun activity on both sides of the inlet.
The purpose of the Manasquan Inter-Coastal Tug of War is to raise money for the Manasquan and Point Pleasant Townships recreation departments and is sponsored by non other than Jersey Mike’s!
Both Manasquan and Point Pleasant mayors are looking forward to the event and are confident in their respective towns.
If you are interested in being apart of this incredible event the committee is looking for volunteers to help assist both in the lead-up to the event and during the event itself. Reach out to Geoff Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org.
