Ready to visit New Jersey Lighthouses? Along the New Jersey coast lay nearly a dozen of some of the most historic lighthouse stations in the United States. Visitors come from all over the state to see these aids to navigation that helped mariners return home from sailing the atlantic for over a century. Most are very close some of the most beautiful beaches the state has to offer and many are still open to the public today. This can be a very affordable and most of the time even free option for a fun filled day on the jersey shore. Here’s a list of the lighthouses we think are totally worth checking out. For more info, make sure to check out each lighthouses own page for fun activities, best places to stay, seaworthy spots to eat and other things we recommend checking out near by. Hope you enjoy!
